The thing about free online advice and templates is that it sounds great when you see it, but when you want to make it work for you it usually stares right back at you.

If you’re anything like me, you never grabbed a template and used it as-is. I took it a few steps further, and added step-by-step guides to my own templates so they’re not just easier to fill out the first time you see them, they’re also actionable in the long term.

Because there’s no point in perfecting a checklist or a template slide if you’re not going to use them more than once.
